The Digital Modeling and Fabrication program at IYRS is a platform to develop the skills related to manufacturing, including product design,computer numeric control (CNC) machining, and additive manufacturing.
These makers' skills include working in plastic, metal, compositesand wood mediums, and provide a gateway to innovative design/prototyping companies or the CNC machine shop environment to meet the increasing role of technology in global manufacturing.
The Digital Modeling & Fabrication program's unique curriculum approaches digital fabrication through the lens of craftsmanship enabling students to develop proficiency through hands-on training and unparalleled access to state-of-the-art equipment.
This lays the groundwork for individuals to become skilled practitioners, with a keen awareness of innovative approaches and outcomes.
