About The Barn Project

Located on Lopez Island on the bluff above the San Juan Channel, visitors of The Barn Gallery have a magnificent views of the Cattle Point lighthouse, across the Strait of San Juan de Fuca, the international boundary between Canada and the United States to the snow-capped Olympic mountains. The project is a partner-ownership with the company 'Original Evergreen Experience', OEX CLUB and the designers James Ferris & Caroline Di Diego.

The Barn Gallery is a waterfront guest house showcasing sustainable design and a gallery displaying and teaching sustainable design.

"It started with the deconstruction of an existing house built in 1975. We chose to deconstruct rather then bulldoze the house, saving 80 percent for up-cycling and re-purposing. When we ran out of recycled wood from the original house, we sourced wood from other dismantled buildings in the Northwest and California."

Structure & Environment

The original building's entire footprint was retained for the new structure resulting in minimal disturbance to the environment. We modified it somewhat to include an extended privacy wall allowing entrance on either side of the house. The design echoes a barn on the adjoining property, but with a decidedly contemporary flavor.

The Original House

The siding planks are from the original house and were cut from trees on the property in 1970. They were carefully removed from the original house, transported half a mile down the road to a neighbor's saw mill. The untreated and naturally weathered boards were then sawn for use as the siding. Recycled steel and metal artifacts were integrated into the design complimenting the reclaimed woods.

The spectre of vaccine nationalism ...?

The spectre of vaccine nationalism stalked Europe as a row erupted between Britain and the European Commission over supply of the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine. Because of manufacturing problems at one of its European factories, AstraZeneca has said it will deliver less to the EU than it had planned in the coming months. The commission wants some of the shortfall to be made up with vaccine allotted for Britain. That risks breaching contractual obligations. But there are threats from the EU that if AstraZeneca does not agree, then supplies to Britain of other vaccines made in Europe, in particular the Pfizer jab, may be affected.

Pfizer admitted the vaccine does not prevent Covid infection, and other vaccine problems; and how EMTs are being lied to and shamed to force vaccine uptake

People have asked why I was not blogging about the Covid vaccines.  To be honest, I felt there was not enough information for me to be decisive, and I was waiting for more information to become available.

However, someone called me this morning and told me about a lot of allergic reactions, including one anaphylactic reaction, at a local hospital after 30 doses were given. Staff were instructed to keep this quiet.

Today I watched a 9 minute Ben Swann video about the vaccines, in which he read the "Declination form" that must be signed by EMTs in Maine who refuse the vaccine. It contained false and misleading statements, and I realized I should no longer delay discussing what I know about the vaccines.

1.  Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are made from messenger RNA and lipid nanoparticles containing polyethylene glycol (PEG).

a.  Messenger RNA (or any RNA) can potentially be converted to DNA in the presence of reverse transcriptase.  That DNA potentially, or bits of it, could become linked to your native DNA.  While I have no idea how likely this is, I began to take the possibility seriously only after two members of FDA's advisory committee (the VRBPAC) asked about it during their meeting to approve the Pfizer vaccine on December 10.  (I watched the entire meeting and took copious notes.) Virologists tell us that much of our DNA is, in fact, originally viral DNA that found its way into ours. 

I now consider the potential for vaccine RNA to be converted to DNA and permanently inserted in my DNA a remote possibility--but one that I would like proven wrong before being vaccinated.

b.  70% of Americans have pre-existing antibodies to  PEG.  FDA suspects that these PEG antibodies may be the cause of anaphylaxis post vaccination.  The UK recommends against people with severe allergic conditions receiving the mRNA vaccines. The CDC, however, recommends people receive it regardless of their allergy history, only asking that those with severe allergies wait an additional 15 minutes (total of 30 minutes) in the clinic in case they need to be resuscitated.  Anaphylaxis is occurring at about one in 45,000 doses, or 17 times the rate CDC has determined it occurs after other vaccines (1.3 episodes per million vaccinations).  Therefore, getting the shot in a drugstore or anywhere that trained physicians are not close by to perform a resuscitation seems like a bad idea. According to the American College of Allergy, "The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine should be administered in a health care setting where anaphylaxis can be treated." California has temporarily halted use of a lot of Moderna's vaccine due to a high rate of anaphylaxis.

2.  No vaccines made from messenger RNA nor this type of lipid nanoparticles have ever been used in humans.  We have no idea about their long-term side effects.  The clinical trials followed subjects for only 2 months after 2 doses of vaccine at the time the vaccines were authorized for use.

3.  Neither the Moderna nor the Pfizer trial enrolled many frail elderly subjects.  Since both vaccines entered general use less than one month ago, we have heard tales of nursing home residents catching Covid or dying in higher numbers after receiving the vaccines.  But we do not know if this is a random event or a reaction to vaccination, since reliable data are not yet available. The elderly often fail to mount an immune response to a vaccine; if this is the case, they should not receive the vaccine, because they will be subject to the side effects without the benefit.

UPDATE: Norway has recorded 23 deaths after the vaccinations.  Thirteen have been investigated, autopsied and occurred in the frail elderly. Norway has now decided to recommend the obvious:  '"If you are very frail, you should probably not be vaccinated," Steinar Madsen at the Norwegian Medicines Agency said at a webinar on corona vaccine for journalists on Thursday." 

On Jan 15 from Bloomberg, "Norway said Covid-19 vaccines may be too risky for the very old and terminally ill, the most cautious statement yet from a European health authority as countries assess the real-world side effects of the first shots to gain approval."

4.  Public health officials have said over and over that they do not know if the vaccines prevent spread. Pfizer's lead representative to the VRBPAC meeting, Kathrin Jansen, PhD, said that Pfizer did not test human subjects to see if those vaccinated could get and spread the infection.  But Jansen admitted that Pfizer DID test primates--and found that vaccinated monkeys did get Covid infections despite being vaccinated.  Their duration of infection was shorter than in the unvaccinated monkeys. (You can watch Dr. Jansen first claim that primates did not get infection...in the lung... but then admit they did get infections, of shorter duration than unvaccinated primates-- at 7 hours 30 minutes into the meeting.  By the way, hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin do exactly the same thing--reduce duration of viral carriage--as shown in a new review article by Didier Raoult.) 

5.  Are the data from the Pfizer and Moderna clinical trials reliable, especially the claim that both yield 95% efficacy?

a.  Members of the VRBPAC advisory committee wanted more information.  Two of them asked to be given the results between November 14 (the date the data collection ended) and December 10 (the date of the meeting).  Separately, at two different times, both FDA and Pfizer refused to provide this to the committee.

b.  There were relatively few Covid-19 cases in Pfizer's trial (under 200) despite 40,000 enrollees.  Peter Doshi, blogging for the British Medical journal, noted that 20x as many subjects had Covid-like symptoms as those who were diagnosed positive using PCR tests, but the much larger group had negative PCR tests.  We now know there are large numbers of false positives and negatives with PCR tests.  Cycle threshold information was not supplied.  No sequencing was done to assure that PCR positive individuals actually had Covid.  I don't trust these data.

c.  Both Moderna and Pfizer provided rudimentary information to the FDA to apply for Emergency Use Authorizations--much less than is required to issue a vaccine license, according to US law...despite what Drs. Stephen Hahn and Peter Marks at FDA may have claimed to sooth the public.

d.  FDA made the incomprehensible decision to NOT perform inspections of the manufacturing facilities of the Covid vaccine manufacturers.  What did FDA not want to find?  FDA misled its advisory committee by claiming to have reviewed all the manufacturing paperwork supplied to it.  That is a far cry from inspecting the facility. 

6.  No one knows how long immunity lasts, if in fact the vaccines do provide some degree of immunity. (Should it be called immunity if you can still catch and spread the virus?)  For every known vaccine, the immunity it provides is LESS robust and long-lasting than the immunity obtained from having had the infection. People who have had Covid really have no business getting vaccinated--they get all the risk and none of the benefit. (It is said that Israelis who had Covid are not being vaccinated.)

Now to the Maine EMT declination document.

This is a document designed to force EMTs to take the vaccine by using false information and veiled threats.  For example, the document claims with certainty that one can asymptomatically spread Covid, even up to 10 days.  That has not been shown to be true.  Even Anthony Fauci was recorded as saying that asymptomatic spread has never driven an epidemic, although it might occur rarely.  We still don't know with certainty how much asymptomatic spread contributes to cases, but probably very little.  

CDC made a claim just this past week that asymptomatic spread could contribute to 59% of cases.  CDC, however, made this claim based on its own researchers using modelling and estimates alone.  CDC loves to publish its models of illness, cases and spread, instead of providing real data.  Models can be easily manipulated to support whatever narrative is desired, as we have seen with the Neil Ferguson and University of Washington/BMGF models of the pandemic.

The declination document claims that the clinical trials were rigorous.  I doubt few who read the trial documents would agree with that.  The trials are still in progress.  And FDA explicitly said these two vaccines have NOT BEEN APPROVED.  They have instead been "authorized."

But the most pernicious thing about the EMT document was that it was intended to make the decliner feel awful for letting down the team and the community.  In fact, based on the monkey data, the only data we have, you can probably still spread the virus even after being vaccinated.  So the declination was built on a lie. And, lying document that it is, it is not signed. You don't know who wrote it.  Why are EMTs being made to sign it, and initial every paragraph?

Here is just one of its passages:

"The consequences of my refusal to be vaccinated could have life-threatening consequences for my health and the health of everyone with whom I am in contact, including my co-workers, my family, and members of the community I serve."

When a product is good for you, there is no need to scare or threaten people into taking it.  If you are being coerced to do something, that should be a strong clue to avoid it.

If you become injured by one of these experimental vaccines, the chance of receiving any financial benefit is tiny.  The US government has waived the liability of everyone involved, from manufacturers to vaccinators. 

Luckily, the drugs and vitamins/supplements that are effective for Covid are safe, and have been used for many decades.  See earlier blog posts for details.

UPDATE:  1/13/21 from FiercePharma: "Aside from J&J, coronavirus vaccines from Novavax and AstraZeneca are in late-stage trials, and a host of other companies are in various stages of research. At a Fierce JPM Week panel, experts said there will be plenty of need for a "second wave" of coronavirus vaccines."

UPDATE:  1/14/21  First, both mRNA vaccines are comprised of mRNA that codes for the spike proteins. However, the spike itself may have inherent toxicity and cause serious Covid symptoms, according to a very thoughtful review of the literature sent to FDA by Dr. Patrick Whelan, MD, PhD at UCLA.

Second, an article published by Kanduc and Shoenfeld in September termed "Molecular mimicry between SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoproteins and mammalian proteomes: implications for the vaccines" showed that "a massive heptapeptide sharing exists between SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein and human proteins." The sharing of peptides between SARS-CoV2 and humans also occurred with mice but no other animals, and other human coronaviruses lacked this commonality of peptide sequences with humans.  What does this mean?  "A massive peptide commonality is present with humans and mice, i.e, organisms that undergo pathologic consequences following SARS-CoV-2 infection." The authors suggest molecular mimicry as a reason for the massive autoimmune phenomena that occur in late-stage Covid-19.

The paper concludes, "Finally, this study once more reiterates the concept that only vaccines based on minimal immune determinants, unique to pathogens and absent in the human proteome, might offer the possibility of safe and efficacious vaccines." In other words, vaccines need to eliminate the regions of the Spike protein that mimic human proteins in order to avoid triggering autoimmunity.

Whether this paper provides evidence that SARS-CoV-2 may have been grown in humanized mice, or designed to deliberately mimic human peptide sequences to induce autoimmunity in humans, I leave to the imagination.

• The PCR test is the main test being used to detect the SARS-COV-2 virus, & diagnose COVID-19.

• PCR stands for a polymerase chain reaction.

• In the case of the SARS-COV-2 virus, the PCR test serves to amplify fragments of viral DNA for easier detection.

• The steps are:

1.     Swab people at testing sites for the SARS-COV-2 virus

2.     Test the samples in the labs on PCR machines

3.     Implement a PCR protocol to amplify a piece of the SARS-COV-2 viral genetic material

4.     Look for a fluorescent 'signal' that the machines can read as a positive signal for the detection of SARS-COV-2 viral genetic material

5.     Run the samples through "cycles"—each cycle grows the positive 'signal'

6.     Identify a positive result when enough of a 'signal' is detected after cycling.

7.     The number of cycles used is critical—using too high of a number of cycles may lead to false-positive test results.

3. Did You Know the World Health Organization and Dr. Fauci have stated concerns that PCR testing can lead to too many false positives?

• WHO officials admit the use of the PCR test produces a high percentage of "false positive results," if too high a cycle count is used.

• Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that a cycle threshold over 35 will detect "dead nucleotides." In other words, the use of a cycle threshold over 35 is less likely to reveal a true positive result for the detection of the presence of the SARS-COV-2 virus.

• When Labs misuse the Cycle Threshold (CT), or don't reveal that the cycle threshold they are using is above 35, they are essentially identifying close to 100% false positive results in those that do not have the virus.

4. Did You Know the PCR test 'Cycle Threshold' can be abused?

• There has been a lack of transparency regarding the number of PCR cycles used.

• Florida became the first state to reveal its PCR test cycle data.

• California Labs use a cycle threshold(CT) of up to 45 cycles. This is clearly too high, and identifies mostly false cases of SARS-COV-2 infections.

•  The FDA and CDC recommended running PCR tests up to a CT of 40.

• Any cycles above a 35 Cycle Threshold will produce high false positive rates.

• NYT reports: "Most [Covid PCR] tests set the limit at 40, a few at 37."

• This abuse of testing via the use of too high PCR cycles has led to the establishment of a "CASEdemic," instead of a true pandemic.

• Authorities justify the need for pandemic responses based on the reporting of increasing numbers of "cases," regardless of whether the 'cases' include people who are sick with SARS-COV-2 viral symptoms.

• Authorities do not justify the need for a pandemic response based on the true numbers of "deaths" of people who actually have SARS-COV-2 viral symptoms.

• The late Kary Mullis, Nobel prize winner, stated the following about the PCR test he created:

o "I don't think you can misuse PCR. [It is] the results; the interpretation of it. If they can find this virus in you at all—and with PCR, if you do it well, you can find almost anything in anybody. 

o "If you can amplify one single molecule up to something you can really measure, which PCR can do, then there are just very few molecules that you don't have at least one single one of in your body."

o "If you have to go more than 40 cycles to amplify a single-copy gene, there is something seriously wrong with your PCR."

6. Did You Know labs tested goats & fruits positive?

• In Tanzania, the prime minister took PCR swab tests from goats and a fruit.

• After sending them to a lab, both PCR tests came back testing positive for the SARS-COV-2 virus.

• These are clearly wrongful false positives, and help to expose lab corruption and the seeming creation of a CASEdemic.

• The FDA warned clinicians and healthcare providers of the risk of false positives if they used the Rapid Antigen Test.

• The reporting of 50 false positives, using the Rapid Antigen Test, caused a COVID-19 outbreak scare at Concordia University.

• The Rapid Antigen Test even produced false positive results when tested on foods like Coca Cola and applesauce.

• Widespread PCR testing has led to the reporting of inflated cases, on which the media continue to report.

• PCR tests should be used in tandem with doctor validation of patients who have actual symptoms of a SARS-COV-2 viral infection yet, this practice is not being done 

• According to former Pfizer chief scientist Dr. Michael Yeadon, the actual pandemic ended in the west last April, and PCR testing perpetuates harmful lockdowns.

10. Did You Know the CDC is misclassifying deaths as COVID, inflating the death numbers?

• From 2014-2019, the CDC fraudulently combined deaths from influenza, non-influenza respiratory viruses, bacterial pneumonia and other pneumonia into one bucket category called "influenza disease". This tactic, essentially, inflates the true number of people who die from just influenza virus, each year.

• There are only about 5,000 deaths from influenza virus infections per year

• The CDC took the data fraud to a new level when it combined Pneumonia + Influenza + Coronavirus (PIC) under the COVID "umbrella" in order to create the illusion of an ongoing pandemic. This tactic, again, essentially inflates the true number of people who are dying from SARS-COV-2 viral infection.

• The CDC stopped counting influenza statistics this winter, making it appear as if the seasonal influenza viruses are no longer infecting people.

• Johns Hopkins analysis revealed irregularities in the death data that suggested heart attack deaths were being reclassified as Covid deaths.

• According to CDC data, only 6% of recorded COVID-19 deaths were solely due to COVID-19; the rest had additional pre-existing conditions.

Moderation Is Key 

Dear Reader:

The biggest and most complicated challenge facing the United States of America is accomplishing progress and adhering to the democratic principle known as Common Ground.

Common Ground is agreement upon basic premises in society, in order to allow life to function in a sufferable manner, despite differences and problems. It's basically bedrock, the foundation upon which all else can be debated and altered over time.

The wider this foundational agreement is, the more stable the society is, since the citizens share many ideological values with each other.

If these underpinnings of bonding between them are called into question, they must re-discover them, or face an identity crisis, which introduces radicalism and the threat of extreme views.

The most basic contracts between individuals living under one national flag are (1) form of government, (2) social norms, (3) the size of government and (4) the characteristics of the country.

In today's America, there are very few bipartisan ideas – ones that most Americans wholeheartedly give their consent to. It seems that Americans can't even decide on the question of whether or not the present administration is following the Constitution or breaking it.

There are major doubts as to the way currency is created, for example, which is part of the entire debate around the national debt. There are two schools of thought on capitalism and its efficiency in creating wealth.

There are doubters of climate change and big proponents of it, who see a mountain of evidence to support their claims. 

Truly, the conflict of opinions is endless; to me, the originating issue is that people hold to their opinions so dogmatically, because they have little to no faith that the counter argument is based upon the incentive of revealing the truth. Rather, they feel the other side has an agenda to push, something to gain aside from reaching facts and peeling the onion.

Is this not an accurate analysis – that people are simply suspicious of everyone else with such an assured conviction that there's something insidious about the "other guy?"

Differences of opinions can be mitigated and come to a compromise, when both sides believe they won't be punished for their willingness to meet in the middle. Unfortunately, I don't see any goodwill offered, or any faith that being gracious will be rewarded, instead of exploited and capitalized upon.

We must have, by definition, a wide array of theories and ideas, but we must also reach consensus on key matters, otherwise the ground will always be moving and that's an insufferable way to live.

It is definitely time for America's politicians to debate the big themes, the eternal truths, the topics of giants and vision, not petty subjects or small matters.

IMMEDIATE ACTION STEPS

     1. In our opinion, there are between 40M and 50M Americans, who, had you polled them today, would not recognize the elections as fair and without corruption and irregularities.

We believe that in order to either close the book on this matter and confirm Joe Biden once and for all, OR, on the flipside, reveal and expose a giant election fraud, the country must form a committee comprised of people who most Americans can deem as trustworthy.

     2. Secondly, the most divisive topic in modern America is money.

There must be a thorough and transparent debate about how the economy works. Not until the general population is educated on the problems that are both hard and easy to solve, can the people, at large, stop hating on the rich, or (on the flipside) condemning the poor as lazy.

We must either embrace these challenges and work to solve them, or face the possibility of civil war, as Ray Dalio describes in his seminal book.
