Have you heard that some of Social Security's rules about claiming benefits are changing? Well, it's true. The Bipartisan Budget Act that passed last November closed two complex loopholes that were used primarily by married couples. We want you to know why this happened, how it might affect you, and what you should do next.
But first, don't forget that one of the best ways to increase your Social Security retirement benefit is to delay claiming it between ages 62 and 70. Each month you delay results in a higher monthly benefit for the rest of your life. The new law doesn't change this.
The new law closes loopholes that allowed some married couples to receive higher benefits than intended. Only a small fraction of retirees used these loopholes. Closing them helps restore fairness and strengthens Social Security's long-term financing.
So what's changing with the new rules?
First, if you are eligible for benefits both as a retiree and as a spouse (or divorced spouse), you must start both benefits at the same time. This "deemed filing" used to apply only before the full retirement age, which is currently 66. Now it applies at any age up to 70, if you turned 62 after January 1, 2016.
Second, if you take your retirement benefit and then ask (on or after April 30, 2016) to suspend it to earn delayed retirement credits, your spouse or dependents generally won't be able to receive benefits on your Social Security record during the suspension. You also won't be able to receive spouse benefits on anyone else's record during that time.
Deciding when to start your Social Security benefits is a complex and personal decision. You may contact Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778), or visit your local field office, to speak with a representative about your retirement options. In particular, if you are or will be full retirement age (66) or older before April 30, and you think you want to suspend your benefits, contact us as soon as possible before April 30. But remember, if you want to let your retirement benefit grow, you can simply delay taking it, up to age 70.

'Experts' on SARS-CoV-2 tell us the virus has many lineages and each may be more deadly (or less so) than the last. Only the gullible and uneducated masses will fear the newest variant: OMICRON. This literally is an anagram for MORONIC.
Big news story of the day is that OMICRON is the new deadly coronavirus variant. Governments around the world are ramping up panic and prepping for a winter of more mass lockdowns and a return of other failed policies.
According to a public statement by the Botswana government, the new mutation was first discovered in four people who had received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Wikipedia, the trusty globalist tool of mass indoctrination, tells us:
"On November 26, 2021, the World Health Organization declared a new variant of concern of COVID-19, named Omicron according to the WHO naming system. The B.1.1.529 variant was first sequenced in South Africa on November 24, 2021."
Yes, the new scourge of humanity raised its ugly head in South Africa and is now being detected in the UK. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson is "very concerned."
Are We Really All Going to Fall For this BS?
A fact not lost on us critical thinkers is that billionaires got 54 percent richer during the pandemic. Their wealth rose by an eye-watering $10.2 trillion from the Covid crisis. Why would they want it to end?

It is a widely accepted truism that few people (maybe less than 13 percent) possess critical reasoning skills. The most stupid have a strong propensity to over-estimate their intelligence and "nearly 90 percent of all recent college graduates considered themselves well prepared for their jobs." [1]
It is no secret that companies are forever lamenting how college and university graduates, despite all that 'education' lack critical reasoning. So much so, no fewer than 60 percent of businesses say the education system is failing to teach people how to be analytical. Instead, a dumbed-down population spoonfed on 'do's and don'ts' meekly complies with the consensus, even when this means they all march over the edge of the cliff like lemmings.
So, why am I writing this article?
Because, I am a part of the Resistance; a critical thinker ("conspiracy realist") and like the many tens of thousands who read Principia Scientific each day I know when I am being systematically played. If you are not a natural critical thinker, learn to improve those skills and not rely on self-serving authorities.
Analytical Thinking = Critical Thinking
One definition of critical thinking is:
"the ability to analyze information objectively and make a reasoned judgment. Critical thinking involves the evaluation of sources such as data, facts, observable phenomenon, and research findings. Good critical thinkers can draw reasonable conclusions from a set of information and discriminate between useful and less useful details to solve a problem or make a decision." [2]
Astronomy colleagues tell me Omicron is used to designate the fifteenth star in a constellation group, its ordinal placement an irregular function of both magnitude and position.
Of course, as many PSI scientists also know, Omicron is the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet. In classical Greek, omicron represents the sound [o] in contrast to omega.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) said that their modeling indicates that strict travel restrictions would delay the variant's impact on European countries by two weeks, possibly allowing countries to prepare for it. [3]

It is another one of those invisible modern maladies that peculiarly infects the brain of the intellectually challenged.
During the first lockdown in 2020 PSI readers had their eyes opened to the truth. Claims over asymptomatic virus transmission were exposed by Dr Clare Craig, a pathologist, and her colleague Dr Jonathan Engler. They examined the evidence and wrote an important paper on the subject. It adroitly destroys scientific credence for such WHO claims.
The more discerning and cerebral will always dig a little deeper to see what really lies beneath the hype.
Likewise, Wikipedia has a little more to tell us about the Omicron that I'd like to share with readers. It tells us that in modern times the Greek letter omicron has been re-purposed.
Today, among scientists it represents an empty number cell. Wikipedia continues:

Pete Seeger and Lee Hays were founding members of People's Songs, a music publishing company that specialized in tunes that supported various left wing causes - including hammer and sickle Communism. At its first board of directors meeting, Seeger and Hayes staved off boredom by passing a sheet of paper back and forth, collaborating on the lyrics that became "If I Had A Hammer." That Labor Day, at a show promoted in a Communist newspaper, Seeger debuted the song in concert (his co-star on the bill was Paul Robeson). Impressed by the crowd reaction, Seeger and Hays then recorded "If I Had A Hammer" with their new group, The Weavers, as their first release on the tiny Charter Records label. (Ronnie Gilbert and Fred Hellermen rounded out the quartet). "It was a collector's item," said Hayes. "Nobody but collectors ever bought it."
In 1952, the lyrics were revised a bit by a fellow radical activist, Libby Frank, who insisted on singing "my brothers and my sisters" instead of what Seeger and Hayes had written: "all of my brothers." Hayes objected ("It doesn't ripple off the tongue as well. How about 'all of my siblings?") but finally agreed. A decade later, the melody itself was rewritten by Peter, Paul & Mary.
